Extra Curricular Activities

Extra Curricular Clubs

We run a number of varied after school and lunchtime clubs  for the children. We believe in the development of the whole child and we realise that with commitments outside of school parents can often find it difficult to find a club that is right for them. As a result, we attempt to provide an opportunity for as many children as possible to attend a variety of clubs at our school. These are run by external providers who give high quality experience to the children in a range of activities.

These clubs change each term. We try across the course of the year to have a wide range of clubs. Some are aimed at specific children and others are open to all.  Please look out for our club offer in the newsletters that are sent home each week.

Clubs we currently have being organised by outside agencies are:

Piano

Guitar

Football

Drama/ Musical  Theatre

Coding

Science

Art

Cookery

Spanish

Cricket

Multiskills/Sports

We also have some clubs organised by staff, these include;

Saints and Scholars before and after school club, crafts, games, construction

Singing Club

BSL Club

Football Training (Girls)

Football Training (Boys)

El Nido Club

Prayer Club

The Chooks

Shelpers

We also encourage children from Year 3 upwards to create their own lunch time clubs, Clubs for children by Children (C4CBC). This is an excellent way children can begin their leadership journey. Any child who is interested in starting a club is encouraged to write a letter with their intent and implementation plans to Mrs Lodge who will work through the process with the children.

Currently we have 8 of those clubs running!
